Each camper is placed with others at a similar level of ability; they choose their instruments for the week, then work together to write an original song as well as learn at least one classic rock piece; and finally record a CD of their original song to share with friends after the big show. This camp is great for absolute beginners to cheer as well as children with some experience. Our coaches will vary the training by arranging the campers in squads according to experience and ability. Each squad will then work together to learn and perfect their own highenergy routine, complete with leaps, stunts and tumbling elements to perform for parents on the last day of camp. pop jam dance camp This power-packed week of dancing includes your child’s favorite high-energy dance styles: hip hop, jazz and tumbling will all be part of the fun as you dance to your favorite music from Jonas Brothers, Camp Rock and more. Students will also choreograph their own moves, including a solo dance for each camper. These solo artists have all made a name for themselves without a backing band, and that’s what our students will do in this camp. Please note that this camp is for students who have at least one year of piano or guitar background. Students will choose a song to prepare from our list and work to perform both vocals and accompaniment simultaneously. We include a photo shoot and a professional CD recording session, along with your stage debut for family and friends. The week culminates in a gallery opening for family and friends where they can view your pieces and hear about your artistic process. film school — Lights, camera, action! Students in this hands-on camp will produce, direct and star in a short film or music video. We will cover script writing, videography, film editing and special effects throughout the week. The camp culminates with a red-carpet premier opening for friends and family to share in a special screening showcasing the student’s production.
